where do i get the third Flash plugin (the one you kept- said you downloded it yourself- where do i do that?)

I only have the two first plugins- the ones you disabled, and without them no videos work at all…

    • geekinfection says:

Hey Inbar! You can download it on get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect
Just uncheck the McAfee Anti-virus so you don’t install it with your flash.

If you happen to still encounter a problem after that, you can post on Geek Infection’s Facebook wall, I’ts easier for me to get in touch there.

Thanks for the remedial suggestion, it exactly worked, off late i found flash plug in regularly crashing, hope it wont repeat now onwards

Thanks for this, for a while now I had an issue where youtube videos would pause and resume when going fullscreen or back from fullscreen. Also even with HW acceleration unticked in the flash options, it was still using hw acceleration, that’s what caused the pause, and it increased my gpu clock speed.

With this fix, the clock speed is always at minimum when watching videos and there’s no lag.

I think another issue is that this problem re-occurs with each major Chrome update as Chrome’s built-in version of flash gets re-enabled. The work-around worked for me, but it’s going to get annoying if I have to disable built-in flash player with each Chrome update (not sure which ones if not all updates). Additionally, I have to let Adobe update flash, which is also annoying since Chrome used to do that for me by building it into Chrome updates. Many (not sure if all or just some) adobe updates require a restart, which is also annoying.

I’ve tried so much but it have worked.
Then I tried this and it didn´t work first but then I installed flash from the link in the commentary section and it worked after I restarted chrome! :D

Amazing stuff, thanks geeks! was really enjoying Chrome ’til I noticed I was getting some sort of lag while watching HD vids, which I wasn’t getting using IE. But all that had to be done was disable Chrome’s built in flash, now I can carry on using my new fave browser :)

  20. First of all, this fix worked great. But when viewing the chrome plugins, make sure you hit “+ details” on the top right and only disable the chrome flash, if you hit disable for the whole flash section, it disables all versions. most people will already have flash installed, so don’t download another copy unless you only have one line for flash after expanding the plugin details.

Thank you, it worked!!!!!!!!!! yeeee :)

Can you guys help me? I now have only 1 file, but I used to have 2, what I would do is disable the one w/ chrome, but after downloading the Adobe Flash Player 11 Plug-in, the other one disappeared, HELP!!!

  28. Asgardian says:

This does not work for me I still have major lag in YouTube not just full-screen but in the small screen too. It is also is shuttery and stops and plays randomly even when the video is fully loaded some ads work fine with out lag but not the actual video. I have I good computer with fast internet. I have done all of your steps plus others I cant seem to figure this out I did find a fix a 3 weeks ago but after a few days it goes back to being bad again then I try to fix it the way I had before with no luck It seems that when I find a way to fix it, it fails a few days later without any change of that working again. I also use Click&Clean to clear my History, Cookies and Cache and it still wont work.
